Description: A framed original oil painting on a board of a view of a 'village' subject which is likely to be of Harrow in North West London where the artist lived for some years. The painting is signed by the artist lower right 'Micklem' and it is dated there (19)50. The work has been reframed at some point and the present frame by Gallery 181 of New King's Road, Chelsea, appears to date to the 1970s. The frame has some minor signs of wear and tear. We have had the painting cleaned professionally and it is in good condition.
