Jean Barham (1924-2003) was a well-known painter and printmaker, noted especially for her river subjects. She was born in London and studied art at Camberwell School of Art 1947-50. Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club, Greenwich Printmakers, and at Blackheath Concert Halls and Greenwich Theatre. She had a solo show on the clipper ship Cutty Sark at Greenwich in 1979. She lived at Hyde Vale in Greenwich.
