Graham Durward (born 1956) is a well-known internationally as a painter and printmaker. He was born in Aberdeen and studied at Edinburgh College of art 1973-78. In 1982 he won a Scottish Arts Council bursary. He has had solo shows at 369 Gallery, Edinburgh; Shedhalle, Zurich 1993; Patrick Callery, New York 1994; Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York 1977; AC PROJECTS, New York 2001; White Room, White Columns, New York 2007; and Maureen Paley, London 2009, and is represented in various corporate collections and in the collections of Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA), the Edinburgh College of Art, City Art Centre Edinburgh, and the British Council. The artist now lives and works in New York.
