Mary Audsley (1919-2008) was a well-known painter, printmaker, ceramicist, and sculptor. She was born in Eton and studied at the Westminster School of Art 1934-38 under Schilsky, Gertler and Meninsky. Her desire to take up teaching at Westminster was thwarted by the onset of war and she subsequently served in the WAAF but was invalided out in 1943. She exhibited with the Royal Academy, the London Group and extensively with Sally Hunter Fine Art from 1990 on.
