Vincent Wilson, RCamA (born 1933) is a well-known painter, printmaker and an art teacher from 1957. He was born in Mold, Flintshire, and he studied at Chester School of Art 1950-54 and then at Liverpool College of Art 1954-55. After living in north Wales and Lancashire for some time, he settled in Cornwall in 1962. Vincent Wilson has exhibited extensively, including at the Royal West of England Academy, and was a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy, Newlyn Society of Artists, Penwith Society of Arts and Plymouth Society of Artists. He had a solo show at Exeter University in 1966 and has also shown with The Thackeray Gallery. His work is represented in the collection of Plymouth City Council. He has lived at Saltash in Cornwall for some years.
