Title: 'Crucifixion'

Description: An original undated engraving of the Crucifxion, which is pencil signed by the artist lower right, inscribed 'to Sergei and Christina' lower centre, and titled lower left. This artist's proof is likely to be scarce and if issued is probably from a very small edition. It emerged on to the market in south-east England, not that far from Brighton where the artist lived in the 1950s and 1960s. The condition of the work is generally good, with no tears to the full sheet, and no other obvious damage. The frame appears to be the original. We have had a new mount made and the engraving has been fitted with UltraVue UV70 anti-reflective glass. 

Size: About 8.8 x 6.8 inches plate size and about 16.6 x 11.5 inches framed size.
