Title: 'Mme Lejeune outside the Window'

Description: An original oil painting on C. Roberson & Co. Ltd canvas board of a view from the interior of a house at Menton in the south of France, which focuses on the presumed owner of the property, Mme Lejeune, enjoying some sunshine. The work is signed recto at lower left. On the reverse the artist has detailed the subject matter, presumably a few years later, as he has recorded the date as 'late 60's'. The artist has signed the painting again in full on the reverse 'Guy Roddon'. It came to us with two other works by the artist, we believe from the collection of an artist friend of Guy Roddon.  The narrow frame is likely to be from the 1960s and it is believed to be the original frame which shows signs of some wear and tear. The painting is in good condition and we have have it cleaned professionally recently.

Size: 12.0 x 10.0 inches image size (about 30.5 x 25.5 cm) and about 13.0 x 11.0 inches framed size (about 33 x 28 cm).
