Title: 'The Turkey Man, Cascais, Portugal' - a signed original watercolour; framed
Description: An original watercolour, signed by the artist lower right and inscribed 'Cascais'. On the back there is the artist's hand written label giving the full title as 'The Turkey Man, Cascais, Portugal' and his name and address in London NW8, where he had lived since World War 11. In our opinion the watercolour is likely to date to the mid to late 1950s. Cascais is a well known Portuguese resort, west of Lisbon. The frame has a grey paint finish which has a few minor chips but broadly is in reasonable condition. It appears to be the original frame and has its original wash-line mount. The watercolour has retained its colours well and is in satisfactory order for its age.
