Christopher Hall, RBA, RCamA (1930-2016) was a well-known painter mainly in oil. He was born at Slaugham in West Sussex and he attended the Slade School of Fine Art in London, receiving his diploma in 1954. Hall exhibited widely and was elected as a member to the RBA in 1988 and to the Royal Cambrian Academy 1994. He had one-man shows with Arthur Jeffress, Portal & New Grafton Galleries in London and also showed with the Park Walk Galleries in Chelsea. His work is held in several public collections including the Arts Council, National Library of Wales and the Museum of London. He lived in Newbury, Berkshire.
