(1902-1988) Gabriel studied under Bernard Meninsky and Anthony Gross. He exhibited with the London Group and with the Mayor Gallery in 1930. Sally Hunter Fine Art held a retrospective show in 1989. Brother-in-law and good friend to the artist Edward Ardizzone.
