Title: 'Plate from Thomas Traherne' - an original screenprint with woodcut, pencil signed verso; framed
Description: The artist, Ann Brunskill, produced a number of books containing original plates by her, which were published by her World's End Press. One such was 'A Glimpse of Thomas Traherne', released in 1978 with eight of her original prints. Traherne was a 17th century poet whose dates were 1636(or 7) - 1674. The present original work on wove paper was from this publication. It is not signed recto but the artist's pencil signed inscription has been attached to the reverse of its relatively new frame (please see our image). The print is in good condition, save for five small brown spots to the paper at upper centre/top of the sheet, and the frame is virtually 'as new'.
