Description: An original portrait of a young woman in watercolour and crayon by this well-known French artist, signed by the artist lower left and titled 'Odile' on the gallery label verso and dated there 1968. This work was included in the major retrospective exhibition of the artist's work held in March & April 1990 at Duncalfe Galleries of Harrogate and London. From a note on the reverse of the work this appears to have been exhibit number 153 in that show. The portrait is in good original condition. The silver coloured frame, which was probably made in anticipation of the 1990 exhibition, has some minor signs of wear and tear but is serviceable. The mount is in good condition.
