Title: 'Pink Fire' 1970

Description: An original hard edge Colourfield painting in acrylic on a paper based board, signed in full by the artist lower left, titled 'Pink Fire' lower centre and dated 23rd December 1970 lower right. The provenance is acquired direct from the artist's estate. The painting appears never to have been framed previously and we have had it fitted to a handmade St Ives type frame in brilliant white. The painting is in good unfaded condition, with no tears or creases to the image. There are some minor marks to the margins where (we think) the painting was stored loose in a plan chest or similar. We have had the work placed behind good quality anti reflective glass in order to protect it. We also have other abstract works by this artist.

Size: About 13.2 x 13.5 inches image size, about 14.2 x 14.2 inches overall paper size and about 16.6 x 16.6 inches framed size
