Title: 'Boats at Rye'
Description: A view at Rye Harbour on the Sussex coast, probably painted when the artist was living at Seaford in East Sussex. It is titled simply 'Rye' on the Abbott & Holder dealer's label verso. The work isn't signed by the artist but it does have the artist's stamped signature at lower right. The work is glazed and it has a good quality mount fitted although the mount is not wash lined. The frame is in very good order and the watercolour is in good condition for its age.
