Title: Houses and Boat, Aldeburgh
Description: An original work in mixed media on paper (inks, pastel and charcoal) of a beach scene at Aldeburgh in Suffolk. It is signed and dated Aug 1966 lower right and on the reverse the artist has signed it again and he has added his then address in London SE3. The work is in generally good original condition with good unfaded colours. There is some creasing to the paper at each of the corners, a tiny tear to the paper at the right hand edge, a soft crease to the paper above the central building and some tape residue verso. The provenance is the personal collection of the artist's widow Mrs Eleanor Christie, who was a sculptor.
