Description: An original screenprint with hand applied gold leaf in areas. By comparing against other examples of this work it is evident that although the printed image is, of course, virtually identical, the gold leaf application on each individual print was varied by the artist, in some areas quite markedly so. This means that although this print is from an edition of 50 works, each one is, in a sense, unique.  The screenprint is signed in pencil by de Soto in the margin at lower right, dated there (19)71 and at lower left it is numbered by him 32 from the edition of 50.  The work is in good original condition for its age. It is housed in what appears to be the original gold coloured frame which is in generally good condition for its age.  N.B. With apologies for the reflections on our main image. It has been difficult to photograph the work behind its original glazing.

Size: About 15.7x 15.7 inches printed image size and about 25.0 x 23.5 inches in its glazed frame
