Description: An original print on a full sheet of watermarked paper (the watermark at the lower right corner of the sheet appears to be 'C'). It is signed in pencil at lower right 'Bellany' and we believe this work to be a self portrait of the artist John Bellany. The work is not editioned or marked as an Artist's Proof. It came to us as part of a collection of prints by well known British artists of the second half of the 20th century. It appears never to have been framed. There is some light creasing to the sheet and some relatively minor handling marks. The deckle edges are intact. During an online search we could not locate any other example of this particular print. Perhaps it is a trial proof?.

Size: About 24.0 x 18 inches plate size and about 31.0 x 23.2 inches sheet size; unframed.
