Title: 'Dortrecht' (Netherlands)

Description: A good sized framed watercolour, with some pastel, of the town and River Maas at Dortrecht in South Holland, Netherlands, situated to the south of the city of Rotterdam. The watercolour is signed in full by the artist to the lower left centre of the work. It is undated but we think it will probably be from the 1930s. The watercolour is housed in what appears to be its original frame with mount, made by the well-known firm of Alfred Stiles & Sons Ltd of Hammersmith, London whose label is verso.  We haven't disturbed the watercolour by opening up the frame but the work appears to be in good original condition. The frame itself is good for its age.

Size: It measures about 12.0 x 18.0 inches image size and in its frame is about 22.0 x 27.5 inches (56 x 70 cm).
